Our story begins at the end of Prince of Persia The Sands of Time™. The Prince is back home in Babylon where he finds himself pursued by a supernatural creature intent on destroying him. Condemned to a life of perpetual flight, he seeks the counsel of an old mystic who explains that his actions have invoked an immortal incarnation of a fate named Dahaka. During his quest to save the Maharajah’s palace, the Prince has created a fissure in time.

Pursued by the Dahaka, the Prince embarks on a bloody, mysterious, voyage in defiance of his destiny, realizing he has only one solution to stay alive: Go to the Sands of Time and travel back to prevent their creation. Without the Sands of Time his last adventure could not have occurred, and the Dahaka will disappear. His quest takes him to the heart of a cursed island and a fortress in which live the ancestral fears of mankind
